Privacy Policy

Falah requests access to your device location solely to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times and determine Qibla direction for your area. Your location is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to any server, stored beyond the current session, or shared with any third party. You may deny location permission at any time; the app will then prompt you to enter your city manually.

Falah may send local push notifications to alert you to prayer times, Imsak, Iftar, Suhoor, and seasonal Islamic events such as Eid. All notifications are scheduled entirely on-device using your local prayer time calculations. No notification data is sent to or received from any external server. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Falah uses your device's compass (magnetometer) and accelerometer solely to display Qibla direction on-screen in real time. Sensor readings are never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Falah does not request or use access to your camera, microphone, or photo library at any time.

Falah does not collect, access, or store any health or medical data. The app does not integrate with Apple Health, Google Fit, or any other health platform. Features such as fasting timers and prayer tracking are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted or shared. No biometric, fitness, or wellness information is accessed at any time.

Falah does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, no analytics tracking, and no third-party services that monitor your usage.

All your data — including dhikr counts, journal entries, prayer streaks, juz progress, fasting logs, sadaqah records, and family profiles — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. Nothing leaves your phone.

Falah is designed to work entirely offline for all core features — prayer times, dhikr, duas, Quran tracker, and more. The optional city search feature sends only your typed city name to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim API to find coordinates, and timezone detection uses timeapi.io. No personal information is ever sent — only anonymous geographic queries with no account or identifier attached.

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your data. You can also clear individual data within the app at any time through the settings screen.

Falah does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details such as your name, email, or phone number. The name you enter during setup is stored only on your device and never transmitted.

The family profiles feature allows multiple people to use the app on the same device. All profile data — names, preferences, and progress — is stored locally and is never transmitted, synced, or shared externally.

We do not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking libraries. Your usage patterns, screen views, tap interactions, and session data are never recorded or shared with anyone, including the developer.

Falah does not share any data with third parties, advertisers, data brokers, or other developers. The app contains no advertising of any kind. There are no in-app purchases that collect payment information — all transactions are handled entirely by the Google Play or Apple App Store platform.

Falah is suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it complies with children's privacy regulations including COPPA and GDPR-K. No data is collected from children or adults.

If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected in an app update and on this page. The date at the bottom of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Since we do not collect any contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
